Country Marketing Manager (Poland)
Can You Build a Market?
Here’s the challenge: Take Sloneek from unknown to top-of-mind for Polish HR leaders in 18 months. Build pipeline that helps our Polish sales team hit aggressive growth targets. Do it mostly solo, with HQ support but not HQ hand-holding.
Here’s what you get: Full ownership of Poland’s marketing strategy. Budget for experiments. Direct collaboration with Sales, Product, and exec leadership. The chance to define how a B2B SaaS scale-up enters a new market – and if you succeed, the path to lead CEE regional marketing.
Here’s what you need: 3+ years B2B tech marketing experience managing events and trade shows, native Polish, familiarity with digital marketing channels, and the ability to work autonomously without hand-holding. No team for 12-18 months. Just you, your skills, and the opportunity.
Do you have what it takes? If yes, keep reading
What You'll Actually Do
✅ Own outbound pipeline generation and support inbound efforts for the Polish sales team. That’s the job. Everything else supports that goal.
✅ You work with Core Marketing on campaigns for Poland. They lead strategy and build assets. You provide local market expertise and execute: localization, events, partnerships, Sales collaboration. Teamwork: they set direction, you deliver results in Poland.
✅ Localize everything: Take HQ’s global campaigns and make them work for Polish HR leaders. Not just translate – actually adapt for cultural nuances, buyer behavior, local pain points.
✅ Events & partnerships: Organize 4 local events per year (webinars, roundtables, conferences) with clear pipeline ROI. Build 2 active partnerships generating monthly leads.
✅ Sales collaboration: Weekly sync to review lead quality. They need to trust you’re sending real opportunities, not junk. You need their feedback to improve campaigns. You ‘ll be bridging our Polish sales team and central marketingZero friction between you = success.
✅ Market intelligence: Report to HQ why we win or lose in Poland. Competitor moves, product gaps, local objections – you’re their eyes and ears.
✅ Write. A lot. Landing pages, emails, LinkedIn posts, case studies etc. All in Polish, all high-quality, all targeted at C-level HR leaders.
What you do NOT do:
- Build a team (not for 12-18 months)
- “Just translate” HQ content
- Focus on “brand awareness” without pipeline
- Wait for HQ to fix problems
What We're Looking For
Non-Negotiable:
✅ 3+ years B2B Tech marketing (ideally SaaS, must be B2B with hands-on execution)
✅ Native/fluent Polish + strong English (C1+ written, B2+ spoken minimum)
✅ Digital core: Real experience with CRM, website analytics, LinkedIn/Google Ads, email marketing, landing page optimization
✅ Portfolio required: 2-3 examples of campaigns, content, or events you’ve personally executed (can be anonymized)
✅ Sales collaboration: You’ve worked directly with Sales teams to improve pipeline – not just “handed over leads”
✅ Proof of practice: At least one campaign where you owned end-to-end pipeline generation with clear metrics (MQL → SQL → Opportunity funnel)
✅ Polish market knowledge: You know the (HR) tech landscape, can name competitors, understand buyer behavior
✅ Event management: Organized at least 2 local B2B events (webinars, conferences, workshops) with measurable outcomes
What makes you stand out:
- Top Performer recognition in marketing
- B2B SaaS scale-up experience (10-100 people growth phase)
- Strong data/analytics mindset (metrics over gut feel)
- You’ve challenged HQ or management on strategy and lived to tell about it
- Video content creation or webinar hosting experience
- HR tech or complex B2B product experience
Don ‘t apply if:
🚩 You never touched an event organization or production
🚩 You expect perfect tools, processes, and documentation
🚩 You’ve only worked agency-side (no in-house B2B SaaS experience)
🚩 You prefer working solo and don’t like collaborating with Sales
🚩 You can’t show a portfolio of your work
🚩 You’re a “yes man” who doesn’t push back constructively
🚩 You want to “build a team” from day one
