User management

Setting up an employment contract for an employee or user

Setting up an employment contract in Sloneek basically means setting up working hours (if we ignore the act of uploading the contract as a document). You set the working hours in the Settings / Working hours section and assign the user in their tab under the Conditions and salary tab. The working hours can be e.g. Full-time, Part-time, contractor.

Notice of the end of the employee trial period

Sloneek does not automatically notifies you of the end of the employee trial period, as the trial period is not de facto legally obligatory and its length may also vary. However, if you create a custom field of the Reminder type and add a date to this field in the user folder, the system will send you a notification 7 days before the end of the trial period.

Reasons for terminating the contract

To specify the reasons for termination, first select Offboarding as the user’s lifecycle phase in the user folder. Click the Save button and a dialog box will appear for you to select the reason for termination.

 

Absence

Who approved or denied my vacation?

You can find out who approved or denied your vacation or any other absence in your personal audit log. This can be found under My Profile / Audit log.

Travel orders

Travel orders cannot be processed directly in Sloneek at this time. It is necessary to download the necessary documents from the application and process them externally.

Zoom in / Zoom out

The team tree cannot currently be zoomed in or out. However, you can use keyboard shortcuts to zoom in and out of the browser.

Why can’t I see my birthday on my dashboard?

It’s not that the system has forgotten your birthday, it’s just that only other users’ birthdays are displayed on the main dashboard. 🙂

Displaying of private documents in the User folder

Only documents of type Private are displayed in the user’s folder. If you need to see contracts, go to Company / Documents and filter contracts here.

Renaming a document

If you need to retroactively rename a document, you have this option when you click on the details of a specific document from the Documents / Management. Then just overwrite the document name.

Reports

Report refresh

If you have already created a report, but you or a colleague edited some data during the specified interval (e.g. back-entering absences or attendance), you do not need to generate the report again. Simply click on the refresh icon for the specific report.

Where can I find the total number of hours reported for the month?

You can find a summary of the hours reported for the month in the Reports & Exports section, depending on whether you are interested in the number of hours reported by activities (Summary of activities) or by arrivals and departures (Summary of time worked by arrivals and departures).

Token for recording attendance events
Token for recording attendance events is used to transfer attendance events from external services to Sloneek via the API. The token can be used for example in a situation where you want to send the employee’s attendance to Sloneek after coming to work and connecting to the company Wifi. How to work with the API?

If you need to connect two systems, i.e. Sloneek with some other software, use our open API documentation to do so. You can find it at this link: https://documenter.getpostman.com/view/5503821/UVXbvLNY. It is then up to your technical team to integrate the two systems using end-points.

Currently, the Assets modules is not available directly from the mobile app. However, we are working hard to make this module available soon.

 

Other

See the app from another user view

It is not possible to look at the application through the eyes of an ordinary user or manager. However, if this is really important to you, it is possible to arrange with our support to show you the application from the perspective of another user role in a test account. The other option is to create a fictional user with the desired role and log in through that.
